EAT YOUR HEART OUR CINDERELLA!

The remarkable footwear concepts of Andreia Chaves are architectural masterpieces, both imaginative and mathematic.

Raised in the busy metropolis of Sao Paulo, Brazil – Chaves understands that beauty can be found in chaos, a concept that reveals itself in her footwear designs. While studying form, texture and visual effects in Florence, Italy, Chaves created a range of wildly geometric shoes from unconventional materials.

The glass slipper like ‘Invisible Shoe’ (above), is an asymmetrically mirrored low-cut boot, reflecting its environment and making the surroundings part of your wardrobe. The rest of Andreia Chaves’ work is just as interesting, a collection of footwear concepts truly on the cutting edge of fashion.

She explains this in her own words, "The fact that I grew up in a chaotic city like Sao Paulo, full of contrasts, being in contact with such diversity and constant exposure to different visual inputs, has inspired me in how I think and conceptualize my shoes. Looking at my work, I can clearly see influence coming from my South American sense of versatility. Also in the mix - what I have been experiencing in Europe."

There is no doubt we will see extraordinary things from Chaves in the future.
